EDUCATION
The different teaching activities carried out by the members of the Laboratory respond to a central objective: strengthening the link between advanced, up-to-date social research and the training of young professionals. The higher levels of education –postgraduate and doctorate studies- must be supported by the most recent advances in both the theoretical and the methodological aspects of Social Science. Following this idea, the members of the Laboratory try to transfer the knowledge capital obtained from their research activity to the students, providing them with the most appropriate tools to address the challenges of modern society.
The training activities carried out by the Laboratory concentrate on the active participation of its members in different Master and PhD programs, as well as on the guidance and tutoring of doctoral theses and students’ research projects. Some examples are the following:
- Doctoral Program: Economics, Business and Social Sciences (University of Seville)
- Doctoral Thesis: Religion and religiosity in Spain, Andalusia and Europe
- Doctoral Thesis: Multidimensional Extensions of Distribution Problems
